First of all, I would like to thank all the parents for your IN-KIND contributions this past month. All of the returned homework time documentation sheets have really added up. Please, don't forget that you can also turn in your monthly activity calendar with signature and time spent on each activity. Be sure to sign and date all forms and that you have an exact amount of time documented. Thank you for your continued help in making our program GREAT!
Good Monday morning! We want to let our families know that we will begin health screenings for all children tomorrow, 9/12/23. We will do hearing, vision, lead, & hemoglobin screens. Please ensure that your child is in attendance. If you have any questions regarding the screeners, please call the center. Thank you.

Otero College Child Development Services in Manzanola hosted an art show as part of their Week of the Young Child celebration! These Head Start children are talented! Great job to everyone!
Head Start families: Head Start stands firm on celebrating our seasons and not focusing on holidays that some families choose not to observe. On Monday, we will celebrate the characters that make us laugh and smile by wearing clothing (t-shirts, pajamas) that highlight their favorite character. No costumes will be allowed and please keep all accessories at home (crowns, wands, swords, masks, etc.). We look forward to a day of fun and continued learning for our children!
